Response to Intervention (RtI)
A three-part training sequence
designed to provide psychologists, teachers and related school
professionals with the tools necessary to identify students who are at-risk for academic difficulties, plan instruction
and monitor progress.

Day A (View Presentation)
Participants receive training in the fundamentals of the RtI model and research-based assessment methods.

Day B (View Presentation)
Participants receive training regarding data interpretation, goal setting and progress monitoring.

Day C
Participants are provided with information to help them effectively use assessment data to inform instruction.

Classroom Assessment (Syllabus)
A survey course in classroom and school assessment. Basic principles of classroom assessment including test administration, construction, scaling, norming, reliability, validity and interpretation of individual and group tests.

Learning and Learners (Syllabus)
Coursework is focused on developing an understanding of major concepts, principles and research associated with theories of human cognition, learning, and achievement. This understanding should be used to develop instructional practices that best meet the needs
of all learners.

Using Assessment for Screening/Informing Classroom Practice (Syllabus)
Coursework is designed to expose classroom teachers to instructionally relevant literacy and mathematics screening and progress monitoring tools. Specifically, the focus is on Curriculum-Based Measures (CBM). The course illustrates
how to match assessment data to powerfula nd targeted interventions and/or instructional practices.
